Curtain Pole Measuring Guide

The diagram shows how and where to measure your window so that you can order the correct size pole. If our standard sizes are not quite the right fit please phone/email for a bespoke service and we will be happy to discuss your requirements.

  1. Measure the width of the window reveal and add a minimum of 100mm (4") each side for the brackets. This gives you the pole length required. If this falls between two of the standard lengths you will need to decide which length will look best in the space available. (Usually you will need to opt for the longer length.)
  2. Choose the style of finial you would like and check that when attached to the pole you have the required space for the overall length of the finished product.
  3. We supply 4 curtain rings per foot of pole. If you feel you would like more, please add them to your basket.
  4. If you require holdbacks, choose them to match or contrast with your pole. Please do consider small children when choosing a pointed style.
